MyProjectSales
MyProjectSales is a third external construction-project data provider available in Baucore, alongside ibau and Barbour ABI. Like both of those, it shares Baucore’s general external-provider pattern — a Settings workspace for connection and mapping, a Research workspace for searching and syncing, and a Subscription layer for recurring, scheduled sync (see External Data Providers for how the pattern is shared under the hood).
This page is the hub for the three MyProjectSales articles:
- MyProjectSales Setup — connect, configure, and map the provider.
- MyProjectSales Research — search provider projects and sync them in.
- MyProjectSales Subscription — turn a saved search into a recurring, scheduled sync.
Before you start
| You need | For |
|---|---|
| Baucore MyProjectSales Admin permission set | Access to MyProjectSales Hub Settings and Subscription configuration |
Baucore MyProjectSales (Baucore_MyProjectSales) permission set + a MyProjectSales feature license | Access to Research and Subscription as a standard user |
| A valid MyProjectSales API token | First-time authentication in Research (treat it like a password — don’t share it) |
| The MyProjectSales endpoint active in Remote Site Settings | Required before Salesforce can call out to the provider at all |
Getting started, in order
- Set up the connection. An admin opens MyProjectSales Hub Settings and works through the Setup, Options, and Mapping sub-sections — Endpoint URL, Org ID Key, whether new records are created as Project/Project Lead/Main Project, and field/picklist mapping. Full detail: MyProjectSales Setup.
- Search and sync a project. A user opens MyProjectSales Hub Research, authenticates with the API token on first access, and searches by project name, company name, or keyword (with advanced filters for things like project score, location, development type, and timeline). Choose Auto Sync to apply the configured mappings immediately, or Manual Sync to review mapped values and resolve duplicates before saving. Full detail: MyProjectSales Research.
- Turn a search into a subscription. Once a saved search in Research looks right, an admin activates the MyProjectSales Scheduler in Setup → Options, and a standard user’s saved search then runs automatically going forward — the Subscription view shows Scheduled On, Last Run, Next Run, and a run counter. Full detail: MyProjectSales Subscription.
Participant import follows role mapping
As with ibau and Barbour ABI, a participating company from MyProjectSales is only imported as a Participant if its provider role has an active role mapping — unmapped roles are simply not imported until you map them in MyProjectSales Hub Settings → Mapping → Roles.
Pausing sync without losing configuration
Terminate Background Sync (in Setup → Options) excludes MyProjectSales records from queued background processing as a temporary operational stop — it does not disable manual sync and does not remove saved subscriptions. Use it to pause automatic imports without having to reconfigure anything when you turn it back on.
