Considerations for Project Status and Recommendations
A couple of operational details to know when running Project Status and Recommendations day to day.
Disable Project Auto Check
It’s possible to deactivate the project status check entirely — for example, to temporarily disable the auto-check during a mass import of Project data.
- Go to Setup → Custom Metadata Types → Baucore Settings → Manage.
- Select Disable project status and change the Value to
true.
Interrupt a running Project Auto Check process
If you need to stop an already-running Project Auto Check process — without disabling the feature entirely — use this setting instead, and remember to re-enable it afterward:
- Go to Setup → Custom Metadata Types → Baucore Settings → Manage.
- Select StopProjectAutoCheck and change the Value to
true.
These two settings are distinct: Disable project status turns the traffic-light system off entirely, while StopProjectAutoCheck only interrupts the currently running scheduled process — see Automate Project Status Check for how the scheduled job itself works.
Dependent picklists on Recommendation Action fields
Baucore currently only supports a dependent picklist field on a Recommendation Action where the controlling field itself is not also a dependent picklist. A dependent-picklist chain more than one level deep isn’t supported here.
