Manage Participants for a Project

A Project can have one or multiple Participants. Participant records may be imported automatically from external data providers such as ibau, generated by Baucore processes like Processor or Dealer Recommendation, or created manually.

During the conversion of a Project Lead to a Project, the Project Lead’s Participants can be manually selected to be automatically created as Project Participants.

Create a Participant manually

1. Open a Project record.
2. Go to the related list Participants.
3. Press New to create a new Participant record, or open an existing one.
4. If you’re creating a new record, the lookup to the Project is filled in automatically.
5. Enter the name of the Account in the Account field.
6. Optionally, link a Contact — only Contacts belonging to the selected Account are offered.
7. Select the Participant’s Role — this is the most important field.
