Trigger Project Decision Process without User Interaction

The Submission Process logic can be triggered automatically, without using the UI process described in Getting Started with Submission Process.

Every time the Marked as winner field on a Participant record is updated to true, the process that runs the submission logic executes automatically. The process runs asynchronously in the background — no user interaction is required.

This makes it possible to trigger the same logic programmatically, for example from a Flow or an integration:

ibsbaucore__Beteiligte__c participant = [SELECT Id FROM ibsbaucore__Beteiligte__c WHERE Id = :participantId];
participant.ibsbaucore__Marked_as_winner__c = true;
update participant;
// The trigger fires and the submission logic runs asynchronously in the background.
