Map Project Lead fields to Project
During the conversion of a Project Lead to a Project, some Project Lead fields are mapped to Project fields. This mapping only takes effect when the conversion from Project Lead to Project happens.
All standard Baucore fields are already included — their conversion is defined by the custom metadata Baucore Lead Mapping Std !!READ ONLY!!.
Don’t create standard fields in the mapping — this can cause an error in the conversion process. As the name suggests, Baucore Lead Mapping Std !!READ ONLY!! is read-only and shouldn’t be changed for Baucore to work properly.
Mapping custom fields
If you have custom fields that need to be automatically copied from Project Lead to Project, map them using a different custom metadata type: BauCore Lead Mapping.
This metadata type can also be used to map a field that’s already mapped by Baucore Lead Mapping Std !!READ ONLY!! to an additional destination field — for example, a custom Project field created for your org. In that case, the source (Project Lead) field is mapped to both destination (Project) fields.
Setup steps
- Go to Setup → Custom Metadata Types → Baucore Lead Mapping → Manage Records → New.
- Fill in the record:

- Save the record.
