Setup Spec Text Collaterals

Several types of collateral can be included in the email sent by Spec Text:

1. Formatted text, embedded into the email body.
2. File attachments.

File attachments can be organized either language-independently, or specific to a language.

Manage supported languages

The languages supported for Spec Text are managed through the global picklist value Language, provided by Baucore.

1. Go to Setup → Picklist Value Sets.
2. Click Edit on Language.
3. Add the desired language.

Add formatted text spec text

1. Select a Product.
2. Go to Related → Spec Texts → New.
3. Select the Language.
4. Enter the formatted text into the Spec Text field.

Add a language-specific file attachment

1. Select a Spec Text record.
2. Go to Related → Files.
3. Press Add Files.

Add a language-independent file attachment

1. Select a Product.
2. Go to Related → Files.
3. Press Add Files.
