Setting Roles in the Submission Process

Getting Roles set up correctly is essential to the Submission Process — Baucore ships with standard settings that can be adapted to your business’s own role picklist values.
The ProjectDecision Lightning component shows three main sections of Participants, where a user selects which companies won the Project. To configure which Role picklist values feed each section, go to Setup > Custom Metadata Types > BauCore Settings, then press Manage.

The value configured in each setting is used to:
- Filter which Participants are shown in the list for each section.
- Set the Role of any Participant manually added to that section.
